With their new album, Into Sorrow Evermore, which will be released on January 20, 2023, IMPERIUM DEKADENZ once again conjure up darkness from the depths of the Black Forest. Inspired by the traditions of Norwegian black metal, the band has developed their own style that combines atmospheric compositions with a raw sound. After almost 20 years, IMPERIUM DEKADENZ continues to shape the genre while staying true to their roots, rightfully claiming their place at the top of the black metal scene.

The opener and title track, 'Into Sorrow Evermore,' fuses classic tremolo-played black metal guitars with thundering drums, creating a heavy atmosphere that is underscored by the captivating vocals of singer Horaz. Driving blast beats and dramatic guitars are complemented by deep growls in 'Truth under Stars,' capturing the band's characteristic, dark mood. 'Aurora' impresses with melancholic pianos that, together with cold guitar sounds, build a distorted melody leading to an intense guitar solo. The versatility of IMPERIUM DEKADENZ is especially evident in songs like 'Elysian Fields' and 'Awakened beyond Dreams,' while 'Forest in Gale' begins in a mid-tempo style and swells into a dynamic wall of sound. 'November Monument' is a melancholic piece that depicts the oppressive mood of the approaching winter with intense doom elements accentuated by delicate chords. The grand finale is 'Memories... a Raging River,' which summarizes the dark mood of the overall masterpiece Into Sorrow Evermore in one last, opulent song.

Into Sorrow Evermore is an intense album that successfully combines elements from various genres while never losing sight of the essence of black metal. IMPERIUM DEKADENZ presents their own atmospheric style with great technical skill, asserting their rightful place at the forefront of the scene.
