THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON's mission is to delve together into the adventures of world-famous hero figures and discover unknown worlds. With their debut album Metamorphosis (May 12, 2023, via Napalm Records), the quartet, consisting of members from Feuerschwanz, Amaranthe, and Ad Infinitum, takes listeners on an adventurous journey into the world of legendary film stories, gaming classics, and impresses with their own songwriting. The group, founded in 2021, featuring Ad Infinitum vocalist Melissa Bonny and Feuerschwanz guitarist Hans Platz, reinterprets famous soundtrack themes, dedicating them to their favorite characters and showcasing a unique sonic signature.

How did it all start? THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON emerged from a bet between AD INFINITUM vocalist Melissa Bonny and Hans Platz, the guitarist of FEUERSCHWANZ. The loser owed the other a 'favor.' Hans won and challenged Melissa to record the song 'Jenny Of Old Stones' in a dark metal style, and the journey began. On their debut album Metamorphosis, THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON delve into the adventures of their heroes and transform soundtracks from famous films, TV shows, and video games into powerful metal versions. The League of Legends title song 'Legends Never Die,' streamed millions of times, is brought to life in a stunning way thanks to Melissa Bonny's incredible vocal performances.
