After the ultimate and successful breakthrough THE BLACK PATH in early 2008, the EMIL BULLS from Munich are facing a consistent continuation of their chosen path with their new album PHOENIX. With over 200 shows played in 2008, a top 60 chart placement, and a lot of happy fans, the band rode a wave of success throughout the country and beyond. Now, on September 25, 2009, the new album PHOENIX is set to be released. There were no limits set, no discussion about the legitimacy of a piano ballad like I DON'T BELONG HERE or skull splitters like HERE COMES THE FIRE. Why would there be? After such a long and successful journey, the EMIL BULLS can continue to break their own style, dare to cross borders, and do everything as long as the music lives, because that's what they are. In the end, it still sounds like the unmistakable trademarks of the band: the songs must be emotional, touching, and intense - a mechanical and rational approach would be unthinkable.
