"Passage live" CD od Samael

The legendary Swiss industrial-black-metal band SAMAEL will release their live Album 'Passage - Live' on February 16, 2024 via Napalm Records!

Recorded during a sold-out concert in Krakow on the last day of the European leg of the Passage 25th Anniversary Tour, 'Passage - Live' showcases the groundbreaking 1996 Album in a new light. 'This Album is a celebration of an Album that represents a milestone in our history. The Album that made us the band we are today,' says the band themselves.

It was the first time that the Album was played live in its entirety. The songs remain the same but captured in the urgency of a live environment, they appear rougher and heavier than on the original Album - a quarter of a century after its release, Passage is now more compelling than ever. Additionally, 'Passage - Live' is the first official recording with the band's current lineup. The new members Drop and Ales, both fans of the Album before joining the band, bring a new energy to the music.

'Passage - Live' is a testament to an Album that has influenced an entire generation of metal fans as SAMAEL moved towards a more industrial sound, straying from their black metal roots while also making the band more accessible to a wider international audience.
