It sometimes takes a few years for a band to find the exact sound they have in mind for their songs. The new album 'Untamed' by the French sleaze rock formation Blackrain is such a case. Although already established with their six previous releases and successful on Tours (including with Europe, Alice Cooper, Scorpions, and Steel Panther), the quartet led by singer Swan now presents a work that sets new quality standards in every respect. 'We love the powerful sound, the catchy drums, this great mix of catchy melodies and aggression that runs through 'Untamed' from the beginning,' says bassist Matthieu de la Roche, who also names the producer of the new masterpiece: Hannes Braun, frontman of the German hard rockers Kissin' Dynamite and also a solid sound engineer. De la Roche says, 'Hannes said to us, 'I love your songs, your show excites me, I know exactly how your next record should sound!' Thanks to his help, we have found exactly the sound we have been searching for for ten years.'
