Of course you could understand the title of the new 'Saitenfeuer' album as a vague suggestion for mostly black and white or opaque tunes. The reality, however, is completely different and should - with a bit of humour, of course - be seen as a not quite so serious understatement rather than a literal name. 'Ein Wenig Farbe' has everything a thoroughly thrilling work should have, especially compositional colour! On their third studio release 'Saitenfeuer' are more unique, diverse and colourful as they have ever been before. The five-member group from Leipzig has noticeably evolved, has expanded its stylistic range and consciously raised the bar lyrically. The result can't be assigned to a specific genre! "As a generic term you can describe our music as rock, a further assignment to sub genres would not do justice", singer Carsten Thiecke explains, "unless you would simply sort it into the 'Saitenfeuer' genre!"
